3. MEDIA DATABASE – USER ACCOUNT
You may set up a user account on our website with your personal data to view and download product and business related information and material published in the media database. To create and make full use of your user account, we need the following information: Your title, first and second name, business name, business sector, address details, type of business, contact details (phone number and email), and a password of your choice. Your registered email address will be the login to your user account. After successful registration you will receive a confirmation email. You may update your personal and business related data any time in your user account profile. By registering and using the media database you consent with the collection, processing and use of data as follows: Data such as sites and files loaded, browser type, operating system, IP address, and day and hour of your visit will be stored on the server for statistical purposes. Personal data will be stored on the server for use of the media database and for statistical purposes.
4. INFORMATION SERVICE ON CHANGES AND PRODUCT NEWS IN THE INDIVIDUAL MEDIA DATABASE CATEGORIES
After successful registration you have the option to be automatically informed on changes and new products in individual or all categories of the media database. These include the Product images, Bathroom/Kitchen setting images, Technical images, Catalogues/Brochures, Design templates, Logos categories. The Business category is only accessible for the Press/PR sector, and only the Press/PR sector can use the information service for this category. You automatically register for the information service by selecting the media database categories you wish to be informed on. Information service for the selected categories will be announced to your registered email address. Steinberg will provide updated and new data in the selected categories for download under ‘News’ in your user account profile. Information service settings can be changed any time in your user account profile.
5. TERMS OF USE FOR IMAGE AND TEXT MATERIALS PROVIDED IN THE MEDIA DATABASE BY STEINBERG
For downloading materials in the categories Product images, Bathroom/Kitchen settings images, Logos, Business and Design templates you must consent with Steinberg's Terms of Use. Such consent is mandatory and must be given individually for any download. Consents given, materials downloaded, and day and hour of downloads will be recorded and may be viewed under 'Terms of Use' in your user account profile.
6. TERMS OF USE FOR IMAGE AND TEXT MATERIALS PROVIDED IN THE MEDIA DATABASE BY USER
You have the option to upload materials via the upload function in your user account profile. The upload function is needed e.g. for uploading sample materials to be provided under Steinberg's Terms of Use referred to in Paragraph 5. For uploads, Steinberg need your permission to use your uploaded material for their own purposes, and details as to type and period of use. By submitting your permission you grant Steinberg the right of use in the respective materials. Such Permission is mandatory and is to be submitted individually for any upload. Permissions granted, materials uploaded, and day and hour of uploads will be recorded and may be viewed under 'Uploads' in your user account profile.
7. REVOCATION, MODIFICATIONS, RECTIFICATIONS, UPDATES
You have the right, on request, of free information on your personal data that have been stored. You have also the right to have false data rectified, and to have your personal data locked and deleted as far as the Duty to Preserve is met.
